From 11 to 14 of June, the First International Congress of Nano-Medical Science, jointly organized by the First Affiliated Hospital and the International Academy of Nanomedicine, was held in Sanya of Hainan Province. The conference focused on the promotion of global cooperation in nano-medical research. Wang Shenming, dean of the First Affiliated Hospital, chaired the congress. Wei Qiming, president of the International Academy of Nanomedicine; Xiu Xiaoping, vice-head of the Torch Center of Ministry of Science and Technology; Guo Baohong, vice mayor of Sanya, attended the event and delivered speeches.
