His research team has constantly made breakthroughs, laying the foundation for tackling the difficult problem of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), which is also called the “Canton tumor”. He has published more than 200 research papers and applied for 8 national patents. In 2012, he won the Guangdong Science and Technology Award for Outstanding Contribution.
