Recently, the Committee of 100 Leadership Scholarship Program 10-Year Anniversary was held in Shanghai. Three graduate students of Sun Yat-sen University, namely, Yu Xiaolei from Department of Chinese, Liu Yongshen from School of Government, and Fan Hangrong from School of Physics & Engineering, received the scholarship.
Established in 2005, the Committee of 100 Leadership Scholarship Program is aimed at recognizing and fostering the leadership potential of young Chinese students. In the past ten years, a total of 23 graduate students from Sun Yat-sen University were awarded the scholarship in recognition of their aptitude for leadership, commitment to public service, and record of academic excellence.
