"The 6th Cross-Strait University Student Speech Contest” came to an end in Taipei on September 14. Chen Chao, a second grade postgraduate student from the School of Business, SYSU was the runner-up with the second highest score.

Chen Chao gave a prepared speech entitled “Reading and Inheriting——as Diversified as Trees” with a unique content and detailed explanation, and a splendid impromptu speech that won praise from the audience and judges. In the end, Wang Chuan from Tsinghua University won the champion in the speech contest.
